Never Serve Heat Treated Bones: We only recommend feeding raw meaty bones, never a bone that has been heat treated in any way. Regardless of whether it's been cooked, cured, smoked or had any heat applied it, we do not recommend serving these bones to your dog. Heat changes the integrity of the bone and causes it to become brittle and splinter which can seriously injure your dog. You will know a bone has been heat treated if it is shelf stable and not in the freezer. These are the bones we recommend leaving in the store.

Best for Gentle Chewers: These bones are intended for "recreational" gnawing (scraping off the meat and licking the marrow). They are not recommended for aggressive chewers or "gulpers" who may try to bite through the hard bone.
