Balancing for Dry or Oily Coats
This shampoo is formulated to improve the health of both skin and coat, and help balance oil production tohelpreduceexcess shedding.
The following organic essential oils which are added help improve the condition of the coat in the following ways:
- Rosmarinus Officinalis (rosemary)*
Antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-itch, anti-inflammatory, analgesic,
aids in cell regeneration to promote healthy skin and coat, promotes hair growth.
- Daucus Carota Sativa (carrot seed)*
Stimulates tissue regeneration to promote healthy skin and coat, anti-inflammatory,
antibacterial, good for dry, flaky skin which is sensitive to allergens and prone to infection.
- Juniperus Communis (juniper)*
Stimulates circulatory system to promote healthy skin and coat, balances oily skin, helpful for eczema and hair loss, repels ticks.
- Pogostemon Cablin (patchouli)*
Stimulates circulatory system to promote healthy skin and coat, deodorizing, insect repellent.
Organic
All of our products are made from natural derived or organic ingredients, which means they are safe and healthy for pets, withnoneed to worry about overuse of harmful ingredients which may be toxic to dogs.
Certification
We are always looking for ingredients which are certified organic or wild harvested or natural derived. Black Sheep Organics, asamanufacturer, combines these ingredients into new products, which in turn require their own inspection in order to be certifiedorganic.However, we are a small, family owned company, who - much like small organic farmers - can not yet afford the cost of certification, but are working towards this for the future.
Absolutely no animal testing!
All of our products are vegan and cruelty free. Black Sheep Organics along with its suppliers seek for ingredients that havenever been tested on animals at any stage of production. We were registered under Leaping Bunny Program since 2011.
Bio-degradable
A healthy planet is a passion of ours, so we've made sure we choose bio-degradable. This means when our shampoo goesdownthe drain, it won't harm any wildlife as it makes it's way to our lakes, rivers and oceans. The fish and whales will surely thankyou! This also means our shampoo can go camping for a fun bath in the river!
Packaging
We limit our use of plastic and excess materials as much as possible, and always do our best to make the most earth friendlychoicesin packaging our products. Currently, recyclable bottles are our most sustainable material option, but we do use Post Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastics when we can. Our plastic bottles are PETE #1, which is the most common and easiest to recycleplastic, as well as being the least toxic (along with HDPE #2), and creates the least amount of toxins during production. We hope to beusingaplant based plastic alternative in the future, and stay abreast of advances in packaging.
